Tower of London

Our Last day in London began when we returned on the high-speed
EuroStar Train through the 'Chunnel' (Under the English Channel)
from Paris. Arriving at Waterloo Station, we rode the 'Tube' to
Victoria Station and walked to our hotel.  Winding down from a fun
vacation we found an Internet Cafe, checked  E-mail and printed our
British Air boarding passes and had a nice dinner.

Leaving Victoria Station for the last time...

We boarded the 'Gatwick Express' one more time... to the airport...

  London's Gatwick Airport

We avoided long check-in lines by printing our boarding passes at an Internet Cafe, so we could use the Fast Bag Drop.

Many European Airports are like major shopping centers, and Gatwick is no exception. Last-minute
gifts are always purchased before you board your flight home, and London's famous department
store: "
Harrods" was a definite stop for Karen. (Note the green bag - of chocolates)...

Bags checked... now it's time for breakfast and one last shopping venture.

Check that Green 'Harrod's Bag' in her left hand...

Gatwick is considerably smaller than busy Heathrow (the main London International Airport), and we passed
through customs very quickly to board  the 'Gatwick Express' Train to Victoria Station in Central London
(A 30 minute trip -- except for a quick, hot, latte` at the Starbuck's store in the airport.) We bought our tickets for the
'Gatwick Express' on the Internet before we left home, and again avoided lines and saved money.
